This expansion aims to enhance onboard cleanliness by ensuring regular cleaning of coach toilets, doorways, aisles, and passenger compartments during train journeys
OBHS Staff Dismissed for Improper Waste Disposal
In March 2025, a video surfaced showing OBHS staff member Kanchan Lal, assigned to special train 04115, throwing garbage onto the railway tracks from a moving train. The incident drew widespread attention on social media. Responding promptly, Indian Railways terminated Kanchan Lal's employment and imposed a substantial penalty on the OBHS contractor responsible for the train's cleanliness. The Railway Seva official account emphasized that there is a well-established mechanism for garbage disposal, and violations are taken seriously.
